How to use Find and Replace in your Knowledge Base

Whether you’re rebranding, fixing a common typo, or updating a product name, you don't have to edit your entries one by one. Our Find and Replace tool lets you make bulk updates across your entire Knowledge Base in seconds.


How to update your terms

  1. Search your Knowledge Base: Enter the term you want to change into the search bar.

  2. Select your items: Use the checkboxes to pick specific entries, or select all items you wish to update.

  3. Open the tool: In the footer menu, click Actions and select Find and Replace.

  4. Enter the new text: Type in the word or phrase you want to substitute in.

  5. Execute: Confirm the change to swap the terms across all selected items.


💡 Good to know

This tool will also update answers in your past completed questionnaires. However, we know how important data integrity is; we always maintain a record of how those items were originally answered, so your audit trail remains safe.
